Beds, Church, Kid Conference

 Sunday, Feb 28

Hey there. Just a pic of our baby monitor. And Dallas rubbing both babies' backs. At the same time. He is such a sweet dad. I love how well he takes care of all our girls.

Speaking of sweet people taking good care of babies, here's Alice taking care of her babies!

We have a zillion little tiny blankets and although I like to think of myself as a minimalist, I will not get rid of any of these any time soon - because they are getting lots of great use! I love how carefully Alice is folding these blankets and laying them out for her sweet little baby dolls.

Our kids are the best. Emma knows how much I love to have beds made and at least 4 out of 7 times a week she makes the bed without me asking and she usually likes to "surprise" me and have it made before I come in her room. I feel so happy every time I see a clean room. And I am especially happy when the girlies do it as a surprise. They know me well. :)

Off to church! I don't know if taking pics in church is smiled upon...but I want to remember these moments too. Here's the angles I could get while I trying to get a pic as inconspicuously as possible. Emma and Alice are reading their Bible that they got from preschool.

Here's Lucy right next to me and coloring. She's getting so good!

And there's the happy babies! They are actually in dresses today! They have hardly worn dresses but now that we are going to church again, I am trying to make it more of a thing. Mabel is on Dallas' lap.

And here's Olive.

I always tell the girls they can put their books on the bench and then kneel and color, but they prefer to stay on the bench and color on their laps. Looks way harder to me, but they do it! And there's cute little Lucy holding her boots.

Home from church! I wanted a pic before they changed.

We just don't get enough Sunday dress pictures and the girls grow out of their dresses so quickly!

They have the cutest faces.

Emma and Alice enjoying kid conference for the SECOND time! This time, they had a bunch of rocks ready for the rock art. They spent this last week collecting rocks and they are set!

Dallas dishing up the shoofly pie for people who said they were fans of this pie flavor. But really what I wanted to focus on with this picture is Mabel clutching his legs. So sweet.

And there's Olive! Sneaking open that oven drawer to explore its contents.

Oh hey. It's me. I wore eye shadow for the first time in a long time and probably also the last time for a looong time. I just don't know how to do it. My girlies really want me to learn so I can do it for them. But, I'm just not that good at it. Oh well, someday.

Also, I straightened both mine and Alice's hair today. If you look back at the church pics, you'll see that hers is straightened too. I try to not straighten my hair too much anymore. I have killed too much hair in the past. But I do like to have it straight every once in a while.
