Jacket weather! The babies looked so grown up in their jackets, pants, and socks today!

I always love seeing Dallas read with the girls. Here are Dallas and Alice reading Frog and Toad.

For fun Friday, Emma's kindergarten class did story time yoga. And it was FROZEN yoga! We have encouraged Alice to do stuff with Emma's virtual kindergarten class and she has maybe watched them but rarely participated. However, today's activity took no convincing! All three girls sat riveted and actively participated in acting out a story they know oh so well.

We found out this week that there is once again space in Alice's preschool! We had an Alice-Mommy date and drove to the preschool to do some paperwork and for Alice to have her pre-assessment. She was so cute and so excited and did such a great job! One thing that took some perseverance was cutting along some jagged lines on a paper. The teacher reminded Alice she could move on if she would like, but Alice said, "No, I want to finish." That is so Alice. She is determined (like Dallas) and once she has decided to do something, she will. It took some time, but she persevered and did it!

I am excited for Alice to go to preschool but also kind of sad. Just because growing up is well, just that. Exciting but also hard to see my babes growing up. My girls say this too. The other night Emma talked about how long it was taking for her to grow up and then that she wished she were little again. And Alice is often saying she wants to stay little but I told them last night that they're are wonderful things at every stage in life. I have to remember this too. :)

When we got home, we remembered the girlies hadn't exercised yet! Alice went and jumped on the trampoline and Emma and Lucy went outside to run laps around the house. Here they are at the starting line.

Afterward, Lucy found some dandelions to blow and I also remembered that I wanted to take a picture of her outstanding wardrobe selection. She dressed herself around 6 this morning. I woke up to seeing Lucy dressed in her striped pants, striped sweater, wearing her pink princess heels and Alice's bright pink and feathery birthday crown. I wish I'd taken a picture then but this will have to do - you will just have to imagine the heels and crown.
