I got in a good run this morning - 8.5 miles on the treadmill. I sacrificed morning jobs and a bunch of other stuff though...
Anyway, part of the reason I got in a longer run is a) Emma didn't have virtual school today so we didn't have to rush to have everything done by 9 a.m. and b) the babes took a nice long nap. This one (Mabel) ended up joining me for the last bit of it, but I had pretty much a full hour without interruptions. I was planning to only run 4 miles but no kids were screaming and babies were still sleeping so I figured I'd keep running til I needed to stop.
Here is a pic of Mabel at the end of my run. As you can see, the babes are starting to love toys more and more. You just dump out a container of random toys and they are happy playing with it. I also took this pic to remind me that Mabel has started to crawl! Just a bit - but she can definitely pull herself forward!

They had been playing mermaids while I was running and it was so cute. Emma and Alice had drawn large seashells and taped them to the side of their chairs to make the chair look like King Triton's chariot. And they'd set up all sorts of necklaces and blocks, etc. to make our main floor look like the bottom of the sea. :)
Olive may not be crawling yet, but she has found her toes! She loves snacking on them at all times - even when wearing a sleeper. :) Also, I would like to clarify that although she is not "marine-crawling" like Mabel, Olive has gotten up on all fours and rocked back and forth. So she might be our first baby to not marine-crawl first. We shall see.
Our happy babies! They are getting so big and pretty much are always smiling and happy - except for when they are hungry or tired. I also love these floral pants they have. Hand-me-downs from a neighbor and I am loving them. :)
I got to run to another store tonight. Just a quick trip. I went to pick up some blocks for the girls for Christmas and figured I could also stop by TJ Maxx along the way. I found three little items to add to my collection from Burlington. After the kids got to sleep, I couldn't resist and cleaned up the main floor super well and went to bed super late but also super happy. I love waking up to a clean house.
