Alice is so cute. We are so lucky to have her! She has been looking forward to her half-birthday and we keep reminding her, "It's the day AFTER love-day!" So this morning, she woke up ready to celebrate! As I said in an earlier post, we really don't do a ton on half-birthdays. Mostly acknowledge that it's the half birthday and maybe have a special breakfast or treat.
Luckily for me, the special breakfast Alice requested was chocolate waffles - and we had plenty of leftovers from yesterday. Here's Alice enjoying the last bit of her chocolate waffle.
I love her cute smile and curly hair.
I'm not sure how this is the one pic I got of all the girls.
I promise they enjoyed the breakfast and each other's company.
Happy Lucy with her painted nails.
Sweet Emma. She totally cleaned up that plate. Emma is just like me in her love for waffles and cream. If I were ever to open a restaurant or start up some other blog, I would call it "Waffles and Cream" because sigh....waffles and cream are SO SO GOOD!
There's that happy Alice smile!
Dallas is such a good sport. Dead tired, as you might be able to tell. Lucky for Alice (and all of us), her half-birthday fell on President's Day! So Dallas got to be home with us ALL DAY! And these babes are just getting cuter and more fun everyday. :)
Enjoying a bit o' Guess Who.
Happy babies!
I caught Emma reading her "American Girl" books. I can't remember if I told you...but I found some of these in the neighborhood libraries and Emma has loved reading them.
Haha. She's realized she's being watched/photographed.
Lucy is getting serious about violin! It is so fun to watch her learn. Dallas is an incredible and patient teacher. Our girls are SO LUCKY!
"Chick-a-chick-a-boom-boom!"
Don't you love how Dallas has his feet on hers?
