Today our neighbors had to do some stuff so we got hang out with their kiddos! Aiden and Viviana came over around 7:30 a.m. We had breakfast and then the kids just played til school started at 9:00 a.m. Aiden and Emma were so funny - they kept checking to make sure they weren't late to school and I would let them know, "Nope! You still got an hour!" Wow!
Then they'd come back like 15 minutes later to make sure they weren't missing school. And they would be elated to find out they still had time to play! And Lucy had such a great time interacting with "baby" Viviana - who really isn't too much smaller than Lucy. Maybe a year - which I guess is a big amount when one is 2 and the other is 1.
Here they are once school has started. Everyone kept Emma and Aiden company for the first part of school.
Nap time! Lucy does a pretty good job with her naps. Emma stopped taking naps right when she was three and Alice stopped by the time she was two. So I thought Lucy would stop by two, but here she is, almost 2.5 and naps are still a VERY important part of her day. It is a little difficult to get her to go to sleep though when there's two happy babies trying to crawl all over her bed.
Problem solved. Olive fell asleep.
And so did Mabel.
Hey! This must be after 3:30 p.m. because I can see Dallas' feet in this picture :) He's practicing violin with Alice while the babes are playin'. We've had to set up a little barricade so they don't escape to the stairs while Dallas is focused on helping the girls with their violin.
Just the babes trying out some cheerios with their dad. There was prob some other reason I took this photo, but I no longer remember.
