Sunday Sigh

Sunday, December 6

I called this "Sunday Sigh" because after the frustration of last night...waking up on Sunday was nice. I just sighed a big sigh. Relieved that there was no shopping or errands or big cleaning things that needed to happen. It was a day to rest and be with my family and I was ready for that.

Here are Emma and Alice doing one of their favorite things - drawing and coloring.

And sweet Olive playing with her toys.

Time for a walk! Another great thing to do to settle the nerves and feel happy.

Emma with her scooter and the babies.

Dallas and his five girls. He is such a great dad. We are all so lucky to have him.

Lucy eating what Emma calls "sugar potatoes." Those are really sweet potatoes...with a ton of sugar and butter and pecans in them. So, "sugar potatoes" is actually a pretty accurate description.

Too much sugar. She can't take it much longer.

Wait...she might still be up for it.

Haha! It was a trick!

Okay, seriously, how many pictures of Lucy did I take?!

Well, when you make as many cute faces as Lucy, you get lots of pictures taken.

Okay, enough pictures. Back to business.

Here's a picture Lucy took of me after that slew I took of her.

Dallas helping Lucy with her violin while holding one of the babies.

I think it's Olive.

She sure is cute. Olive or Mabel, whichever one this is. Luckily, they are both super cute.

Alice still working hard on drawing and coloring.

I don't remember what Alice was working on this night. But it looks like there is a heart, so it was probably a note for someone. Whenever she or Emma is sad, the other one makes a picture for whoever is sad. They perk up right away. It is very sweet.

Here is another one of Emma's writing assignments for school. I just love these.
